The Whiptail Banjo Catfish is a
really peaceful catfish. But if it shares a tank with some
smaller fish fry, it may become very excited. This catfish can
withstand brackish water conditions in the aquarium, but it is
not recommended due to the need for a constant flow of fresh
clean water needed. If the Whiptail Banjo catfish is kept in a
home aquarium, it's best to keep the water fresh with a fine
sandy floor.
