The
Tiger Barb comes in a few different colors, black, green and
albino. This fish does best when kept in a group of about eight
or more. If you keep just one or two in your fish tank they will
pick on all of the other fish. Maybe even tear them up a bit.
When there is a group, they will establish their own dominance
order and will leave the other aquarium fish alone, for the most
part. Make sure to have good water filtration in your tank and
carry out regular maintenance.
Tiger Barb
Breeding: Place the parents in a
breeding aquarium with plenty of plants. After spawning remove
the parents and feed the newly hatched fish regularly.
