Thick Lipped Gourami

This a good community aquarium fish. They are happiest if you have them in pairs. They also like the fish tank to have a gentle water flow and lots of plants. Like most Gourami, the male is more colorful and the dorsal fin has a point.

Thick Lipped Gourami Breeding: The male builds a large bubble nest to hold the 600 or so eggs that hatch in about a day.
