Spotted Shovelnose Catfish

The Spotted Shovelnose Catfish can get very large. If you decide on this one for your aquarium, have plenty of room. Use large smooth rocks and wood as aquarium decoration and a sandy bottom. This catfish likes fast flowing, clean water with subdued lighting. It's easy to tell when they are healthy by the shiny copper color sheen all over the body.
