Spotted Bristle Nose Catfish

The Spotted Bristle Nose Catfish males are very territorial. It's best to keep only one male in a fish tank. Decorate your aquarium with plenty of wood and vine roots. Large leaf plants are best, but keep softer plants for them to eat. Keep the aquarium water flow at a medium level.

Spotted Bristle Nose Catfish Breeding: You can tell the difference between the male and females by the tentacles around the nose and up the center of the head on the male. The females tentacles are not as pronounced. Eggs are usually found in cracks in the wood decoration and the male guards them until the baby fish are a few weeks old.
