The Rummy Nose Tetra is a bit
sensitive to a high nitrate aquarium. So make sure to change
your fish tanks water regularly. Even with a properly maintained
aquarium, this tetra is not one of the easier ones to keep. Make
sure to have a good flow of water and change your filter
regularly. Keep some plants, wood tank decoration and open space
and success will be more likely.
Rummy Nose Tetra
Breeding: As difficult as it may be to keep
the Rummy Nose Tetra, it is more difficult to breed. If the fish
tank water is soft and your lucky enough to have eggs, you will
find them on the plant leaves and other decoration. The young
should hatch in a few days and be swimming around the aquarium
in a few more.
