Royal Whiptail or Royal Farlowella Catfish

The Royal Whiptail or Royal Farlowella Catfish is one of the neatest looking catfish around. They spend most of their time out in the open attached to wood or large plants. This type of catfish gets very large so make sure you have plenty of room in the fish tank. Make sure to keep the aquarium clean and a gentle flow of water.

Royal Farlowella Breeding: The male will clean a place for the female to lay its eggs. After the eggs are laid, the male will come back to fertilize and protect them until they hatch.
