The Red Phantom Tetra is not a
very popular tropical fish simply because it enjoys a lower
water temperature, in the aquarium, than most other tetras. If
you cannot provide this delicate fish the proper conditions, you
may want to try a species. This fish also likes to be fed
several small meals a day, rather than just one big feeding. In
the right conditions this fish is happiest with a planted
aquarium with some open space and remember to do frequent
partial water changes and have very good filtration and water
flow.
Red Phantom Tetra
Breeding: The aquarium should have a moss
covered bottom and the water temperature very low, 68F, for
spawning success.
