Moonlight Gourami

The Moonlight Gourami is a very mellow fish and likes a lot of cover in a larger aquarium. This is a big fish and is used as food in its native homes. When mature, they are mostly silver except the males have a red fin and the females have a yellow ventral fin.

Moonlight Gourami Breeding: The male Moonlight Gourami will build a bubble nest and may tear up some of the finer plants to incorporate into its nest. They produce a lot of eggs, maybe 1000 at a time..
