The Lanceolate Whiptail Catfish
can be kept in a community aquarium with other peaceful fish.
This algae eater will do best in a fish tank with a steady slow
flow of water and some good hiding places. Using rocks, wood and
other aquarium decoration this catfish will do just fine.
Lanceolate Whiptail
Catfish Breeding: It is very unlikely
this fish will breed if there are any other species in the
aquarium. When the conditions are right, the female will lay
eggs that will stick to cave walls and other hiding places. The
eggs will be guarded by the parents until they hatch.
