Kissing Gourami

The Kissing Gourami gets its name from the battles the males have with each other that resembles kissing. They don't usually hurt each other though. The Kissing Gourami enjoys a lot of open space in the aquarium. They will devour small plants so it's best to use larger live plants or plastic. They also like algae browsing, so keep some large stones and other decoration in your fish tank as well.

Kissing Gourami Breeding: The Kissing Gourami male and female are virtually identical. If you hope for young, float some lettuce for the floating eggs to be hidden and subsequent young to feed on the bacteria.
