Jaguar Catfish

The Jaguar Catfish is best kept in pairs, one pair for a fish tank. They need plenty of hiding places and come out mostly after dark. The Jaguar Catfish can be very different from each other in color depending on the aquarium temperature and diet. You can increase the intensity of the colors by feeding it more meat and less pellets. The tank needs to fairly acidic with fast flowing water and plenty of wood and rocks.

Jaguar Catfish Breeding: When breeding the eggs are fertilized internally and the eggs hatch inside the female.
