Electric Catfish

The Electric Catfish can discharge a jolt up to 350 volt. Enough to stun another fish his own size or smaller. This carnivorous catfish does not like many other fish in the tank unless there's plenty of room. They like still yet well filtered water and plenty of cover including rocks and plenty of plants. Definitely not a community fish.

Electric Catfish Breeding: I have not been able to find much information about this catfish's breeding habits. Males are slimmer than females and eggs have been found in their native riverbanks.
