Green Discus Fish

The Green Discus Fish is best kept in a species only aquarium. They like to pair themselves off, so if you have several you will notice definite couples. The Discus fish is typically very peaceful and a really neat looking tropical fish. Make sure to have plenty of plants and some wood decoration in a large fish tank. Also the Discus is a little sensitive to keep, so be sure to do regular aquarium maintenance.

Green Discus Fish Breeding: The Green Discus fish will clean an area away in the aquarium to lay the eggs. After the young hatch and can swim freely, they will feed on a secretion from the parents skin. Make sure the water is a little acidic and on the warm side.
