Croaking Gourami

The Croaking Gourami is great in a community fish tank as long as the other fish are as peaceful. A croaking sound has been heard from both sexes, usually around spawning. The males have more color than the females. These Croaking Gourami like a tank with slower filtration and a generous amount of plants.

Croaking Gourami Breeding: The Croaking Gourami is not easy to breed. If you are lucky enough the male will build a bubble nest to hold the small amount of eggs produced.
