The Blue Acara
is sensitive to an unkempt fish tank. If you do regular
maintenance, you should enjoy success with this cichlid. Keep
the Blue Acara in a large aquarium with other peaceful fish with
plenty of plants and rocks for hiding places. Make sure to keep
a good flow of clean water and regular filter changes.
Blue Acara
Breeding: These are some of the easier
fish to breed. The eggs are laid on rocks and leaves and are
guarded by the parents even after they hatch. Once you have some
success breeding your Blue Acara, you should have a regular
cycle of new fry to enjoy.
